XML for FOIA Reports 2010-02-04 Data An XML schema (XSD) for the reports that agencies are required to file under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Publishing FOIA reports in standard XML format on agnecy Web sites is consistent with the President's directive on openess, participation, and collaboration. Doing so will make the information contained in the reports more readily shareable, indexable, referenceable, and reusable -- including through services like Data.gov.
